Umberger for Leino... problem for problem. At least Leino was a nice producer before coming to Buffalo... he had a nice run in the playoffs for Philly, as well.

To the Islanders maybe? Depth forward and they usually need the cap hit to get to the floor.

Not too familiar with his work. Could play on the 4th line in Edmonton? If so he might be an okay free agent puck up after the buy out.

You may want to double check the definition of "steady decline" when in the most recent season your chart ticks up. Not saying I argue that his best years are behind him, just arguing the one piece of hyperbole that is inaccurate based off of the evidence you used to support your claims.

He could play with Perron never mind your fourth line.

You don't pay 4.6 to sign a 4 th liner. he is still good enough to play on a second third line.

Post buy out. Meaning 2.5 mil. Try and keep up.

Why would they buy him out? Plenty of teams will trade for him.

I hate to see it, RJ has done a good job for Columbus while he's been here. But fans have been calling for this for a long time now. It will open up more ice time for younger players, especially Jack Skille, and maybe it is time for him to go. But I think he has value to the CBJ.

Good luck to him whatever happens.

I'm glad we all got a kick out of that. To be honest though, I have a hard time thinking of who could possibly want him.

vinny for umberger is a much better offer for the blue jackets

Hard to say. I was laughing because I know how much the Flyers are pushing for a Vinny trade. it is not unreasonable but Hartnell would be better for Jackets

The biggest problem might be getting Vinny to waive.
